Children's Physical Therapy Associates is ...

a therapist owned physical therapy private practice located in southern Johnson County, Kansas that provides land and aquatic-based physical therapy. We have an established record of serving children and young adults since 1994. Our commitment is to assist children and young adults in the acquisition of motor skills leading to the highest personal potential.

Services We Provide:

  • Motor screenings for problems of unknown etiology

  • Physical therapy evaluations to determine current level of functioning including fine, gross, and sensory assessments

  • Functional skill assessments with an emphasis on mobility, transfers, and seating

  • Individualized, skilled physical therapy programs: long- and short-term programs, including exercise, strengthening programs, motor training, mobility, lifetime fitness, and recreational skill training ​

    • Aquatic and land based physical therapy ​​

    • Partial weight bearing treadmill training

    • Individualized weight training programs

    • Functional electrical stimulation

    • Orthotics and equipment consultation

    • Summer intensive therapy programs
